Alejandro
García-Gil is a PhD Student at the
University of Zaragoza (Spain) in
collaboration with the Institute of
Environmental Assessment & Water
Research (IDAEA) in Barcelona. His
research focus is on the development
of thermal management policies and
remediation strategies of overheated
urban groundwater bodies due to
unbalanced shallow geothermal
activity in semi-arid climates. His
approach is based in the numerical
modelling of the processes
originated in the subsurface as a
respond to heat exchange from a
physical and chemical point of view.
